La locomotive 193 074, louée par SBB Cargo, occupe une grande partie du cadre alors qu'elle tracte un long train de marchandises près de Ligerz au kilomètre 94,5. Le train se dirige vers Bienne. Malgré la prédominance du train dans la scène, il y avait encore de la place pour inclure la célèbre église de Ligerz dans la prise de vue. 24 août 2026

TRI operates the stopping train RB37 between Neuss Hbf and Krefeld Hbf on behalf of National Express, whose new EMUs are still not functioning. To offer a service on the 18 minutes ride between Neuss and Krefeld, older stock is drafted in with loco haulage that suffers from/is graced by a variety of modern and old locos. The appearance of E40 1313 (ex-DB 139 313) on this service was however a rarity. On 23 September 2026 E40 1313 pushes the RB37 out of Krefeld-Oppum to Krefeld Hbf.

On 16 February 2026 RDC DE 2700-03 SANDY oozes at Niebüll in the far North of Germany. Even in rather off-season periods three car carrying trains can be spotted between Niebüll and Westerland (Sylt) -there are no roads between the two cities and all traffic has to take the train that crosses the sea arms over the Hindenburg causeway.

Due to construction works between Hamburg and Rostock, a detour via Lübeck Hbf was on order -including a change of travel direction and traction, since Lübeck <=> Rostock is still not under the wires. To cut something of the delay, the electric loco stays on the train.

L'une des très rares locomotives Metronom encore arborant les logos Metronom est la 146 535, vue ici en arrêt à Celle le 20 août 2026. En raison de difficultés financières, Metronom a dû annuler leur franchise Hambourg--Hanovre--Göttingen à partir de 2026 au lieu de décembre 2028.
