Next winter is definitely coming - the SBB Xrotm 491 115 (99 85 9 491 115-3 CH-SBBI) is already available in Erstfeld. Probably also because the panoramic route has to take on a considerable amount of travel this winter.

Rather short-lived was the deployment of Vectrons on coal trains by DB Cargo, since the locos were a bit ti light on departure of these heavy trains. At times, the train was started but did not move a single meter due to slip althought the wheels were running up till the moment, the on-board software systems registered a speed in excess of the Vmax of 140 km/h due to the wheels rotating that fast -whilst the train still hadn't moved. DBC 193 320 hauled such a train on 30 July 2019 through Tilburg Oude Warande.

The ÖBB 1116 220 is waiting in Zurich with its EuroCity "Transalpin" with train number EC 19793 to Graz for its imminent departure.
