Due to construction work on the Vevey-Lausanne line, trains were rerouted via the "Train des Vignes" line. The picture shows the end and, somewhat distantly, the head of the train of an SBB IR on the journey from Vevey to Lausanne via Palézieux at the 20 meter long Salanfe Tunnel above St-Saphorin.

Following problems with the ETCS and the withdrawal of the SBB Cargo Vectroms from non-ETCS routes, the SBB Cargo Vectroms can occasionally be seen again on the Simplon line, although the 193 077 at Rivaz, with its three carriages, can't complain about too much work. May 19, 2025 
