Due to construction work on the Vevey-Lausanne line, trains were rerouted via the "Train des Vignes" line. The picture shows the end and, somewhat distantly, the head of the train of an SBB IR on the journey from Vevey to Lausanne via Palézieux at the 20 meter long Salanfe Tunnel above St-Saphorin.

It doesn't always have to be the Château de Chillon... In Rivaz, near the Château de Glérolles, a fishing boat chugs by, making the train in the background almost seem irrelevant, although the SBB RABDe 502 is rarely seen here. August 19, 2024 
