VT 18.16.10 stands on 18 September 2026 at Kolín in preparation for her part in the annually (and probably last time held) train bonanza at Benesov u Prahy, organised by Steam Story Agency. Having arrived from Kutna Hora and destined for Praha hl.n., this EMU sadly suffered a 30 minutes delay dueto siome technical hitch-ups, that not only triggered the delay, but also lead to the cancelling of a specialride the next day.

Only a short time was available for the program item Sardinian Railway Photography, after which we explored the beautiful town of Alghero. And admittedly, I must note that a Stadler double-diesel railcar (familiar to me in shape) as a subject hardly justified lingering longer at the station; after all, I tried to stage the train within half an hour, for example here with the cropped reflection in the right part of the image. For completeness: In Alghero, the ARST (transporti regionali della sardegna) ADeS01 (95 83 4600 001-0 [A] / 95 83 4600 101-8 [B]) double railcar awaits departure as AT 70 to Sàssari. The railway adventure of the Bernese Oberland / The railway adventure of the Bernese Oberland - the MOB FZe 6/6 2002 - the star of this year's autumn event of the Blonay Chamby Railway and also a successful hyphen to the 125th anniversary of the MOB, especially since the powerful railcar will be used on the MOB line again after a long time. The baggage railcars FZe 6/6 2001 and 2002 (from 1962 DZe 6/6) were specially procured for the Golden Mountain Pullman Express introduced in 1931 by the MOB and the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL), but due to the rather unglorious economic situation, they only operated for one summer. Delivered in 1932, the railcars therefore never operated in front of the Golden Mountain Pullman Express, but they still spread their very special charm to this day and also present an elegant image on the Blonay Chamby Railway. The distinctive railcar is in Montreux and shunting its Riviera Belle Epoque train, which the railcar brought from Blonay to Montreux. September 5, 2026
