In a very rare outing, CFV3V's non-operable Pacific steamer 1.002 stands at Antwerpen Centraal as part of an exhibition train that visits Antwerpen Centraal on 10 and 11 October, this photo being made on the 10th. A diverse collection of old and new stock gives a nice impression of 100 years of Belgian railways and was on show at Liége-Guillemins (August) and Schaerbeek (September), albeit without the 1.002.

The coaches behind the loco are former Royal Coaches from 1935 thathave been restored and give an impression of a Royal Train.

VSM 2412 stands in front of the brand new loco shed at Loenen on 5 September 2025 during the Terug-naar-Toen train bonanza. The loco shed was completed just a month before the TnT opened. The ex-NS 2412 and het Plan D coach show the brief spell of turquise hauled passenger Diesel trains with NS from 1951-1954. In 1954 Diesel locos of the series 2200 and 2400 were repainted brown and hauled stock turned into Prussian blue -reputedly because dirt was less visible on darker colours.

Diesel passenger trains in the netherlands have almostalways been operated by DMUs; Diesel loco haulage being very rare; onlyin the proximity of Winterswijk and Zevenaar a few peak hour trains were loco hauled. The passenger stock on this train is the hauled versionof Mat'24 Blokkendoos and VSM each year does a very fine job inrecreating the few Diesel loco hauled trains fromthe past -in combination with German Einheitsdampfloks or GDR ReKos.

After two decades of restauration,. NSM's own Blokkendoos (Brick's Box) 9107 entered the Dutch railway tracks on 1 August 2026 with a test ride between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn (twice). The test rides were a complete succes and here the Blokkendoos 9107 has ended her first ride to and from Apeldoorn.

VT 18.16.10 stands on 18 September 2026 at Kolín in preparation for her part in the annually (and probably last time held) train bonanza at Benesov u Prahy, organised by Steam Story Agency. Having arrived from Kutna Hora and destined for Praha hl.n., this EMU sadly suffered a 30 minutes delay dueto siome technical hitch-ups, that not only triggered the delay, but also lead to the cancelling of a specialride the next day.
