Former CSD T435 0554, now inpossession of the Sächsische Eisenbahnfreunde, hauls three other Diesel locvomotives near Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf on 22 August 2026 in preparation for a locomotive parade during the 33.Heizhausfest of the Sächsisches Eisenbahnmuseum SEM Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf. This type of loco is not entirely out of place since the GDR bought twenty locos of CSD Class T435, later 720.

RXP 9904 stands at Amersfoort on 1August 2026. This loco entered service in 1983 as NS 1618 and became Railogix 1618. Railogix gave 1618 this colour scheme that leaned to the SNCF Multiservice colours albeit with a red ventilation grille instead of the grey. In 2026 RailExperts -who organised special raiwlay journeys and decided to buy their own traffic after the demise of LOCON Benelux- bought the 1618 and restored her in full working condition,for now retaining the Railogiox colours.

After ten years of restauration, ZLSM, ex VSM 52 532 is active again sincs May 2026. Here she stands at Schin op Geul on 19 August 2026 before a fully loaded steam train to Simpelveld. This train arrived 20 minutes earlier from Simpelveld, so a quick run round of the old steamer was on order -and performed perfectly.

TRI operates many replacement trains in Germany with loco hauled stock when the newly ordered EMUs/BEMUs/DEMUs are -again- malfunctioning. The 1960s seem to have returned at Krefeld-Oppum on 20 August 2026 with TRI 110 448 calling there with the famous RB37 to Krefeld Hbf. Mo-Fr this service always exists of N-Wagen (dating from the 1960s), but traction is mostly ex-DB Classes 145 or 111 so to find 110 448 on this service is a rare joy indeed.

Giornata di grande traffico alla SNCF: in questo fine settimana di festa, numerosi passeggeri vogliono viaggiare verso le Alpi per le loro vacanze sportive invernali o stanno già tornando a casa. Per questo motivo, sono andato a Saint-Gervais-des-Bains-Le Fayet per osservare il traffico dei TGV durante le vacanze. Appena arrivato, appare il primo TGV: il convoglio TGV 864 parte da Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet (partenza 10:23) come TGV 794 per Nantes (arrivo 19:27). Nel suo lungo viaggio, il TGV si ferma a Sallanches-Combloux-Megève (10:28/10:32) e Cluse (Alta Savoia) (10:43/10:48), poi solo di nuovo a Massy-TGV (16:20/16:26), Le Mans (17:16/17:23) e Rennes (18:06/18:12), e molto probabilmente percorre la tratta via La Roche sur Foron - Annecy. A sinistra nella foto c’è un TMR SNCF Z 850 / BDeh 4/8, parcheggiato qui in attesa del suo prossimo impiego. 21 febbraio 2026
