20% more travelers - the Alpes region is reaching its limits and has therefore rented a RABe 528 MIKA from BLS, which covers two to three round trips from Monday to Friday and so the Domino trains that are freed up are used to reinforce others. The picture shows the BLS RABe 528 109 in St-Gingolph, waiting as R 91 6125 to leave for Brig.

The new BLM Be 4/6 101 "Eiger" leaves the Grütschalp station as the R66 to Mürren, in the background you can see the Be 4/6 102 "Mönch" which will then be made available as the next train to Mürren. (Recording the quarter hour cycle).

2024-08-18. PKP Intercity EU44 "Husarz" manuveres in Rzepin near the German border. In a few minutes it will haul EC 58 "Gedania" to Berlin Hbf. PKP Intercity sometimes suffers from a lack of modern, multi-system locomotives for the international routes to Germany. As a result the domestic half of the route can be served with an older EP09 class and the EU44 is substituted only right before the border.
