On 27 July 1989 Atlanmtic 12.004 heads the extra train 'Sinjoren Expres' at Roosendaal. Just six engines strong, this class Atlantics (2B1, a.k.a. 442) was specially build for fast trains between Bruxelles-Midi and Oostende on the fast track via Gent Sint-Pieters and Brugge and entered service in 1939. Sadly, WW-2 ended all plans for further expansions of this superb class.

SA01 prepares herself witha sister engine for the return lap at Treignes during the CFV3V Weekend a Vapeur. SA stands for SAFEA, one of the erstwhile many coal mines in Belgium. Each coal mine of real importance had at least one of these tank engines for lokal operations, fout of which reveived an asylum at the CFV3V.

AD05 stands in Mariembourg on 21 September 2019. AD stands for Andre Dumont, the name of one of the erstwhile many coal mines in Belgium. This one was at Genk-Waterschei. Each coal mine of real importance had at least one of these tank engines for lokal operations, fout of which reveived an asylum at the CFV3V.

It was made for shunting and had a simple concept. This engine was the last steam engine to be used by the mines. It was moved to Mariembourg by own means on 24th may 1980 and is property of CFV3V.
