Ex-CSD 354 7152 stands on 13 May 2012 in the railway museum of Luzna u Rakovnika. De numer 354 gives some characteristics of the type of loco, whe the firt n umber denotes the driving axles (3), the second the maximum speed parted by 10 and subsequent minus 3 (80 km/h; 80:10=8, subsequent 8-3=5 and you get the second number of the class) and the thrid number the axle weight minus 10 (14 tonnes pro axle). In this number scheme, many different classes carry the same number, only to be told from one another by a rather complex subnumbering). Compare this Class 354 with the last picture of 354 195.

Of DB Class 10 only two examples were build. Althought these Pacifics were good engines, the shift toward Diesel and electric tractions overtook West-German steam operations and any series build of the 1953 designed Class 10 was cut short. The DDM luckily has saved 10 001 from oblivion and put her outside to enjoy the Sun light on 23 May 2010.

The very last NMBS/SNCB steam loco in normal service was 29.013 in 1966, one of about 280 1D US engines. As the only one of this class in Belgium, she became instantly a designated museum loco even before the last official scheduled steam trip to Dendermonde. On 21 September 2019 she was guest with the CFV3V and receives attention at Mariembourg. Another member of this type rides in HUngary as 411.118 'Truman'.

In the 1930s the Austrian railways BBÖ used thirteen Class 214 steam locos for the fast trains Salzburg-Vienna. After the nazi-Anschlüss of 1938, these became Class 12. When from 1935 the Romanian railways CFR needed fast passenger steam locos, they ordered 79 engines of a slightly modified Class 214/12 design. Of these CFR machines, 142.063 was bought by ÖGEG (Austrian Railway History Society) and masqueraded as 12.14 enjoys now a lease of life at the Lokpark Ampflwang, where she was photographed on 27 May 2012.
