The GFM Be 4/4 111 railcar was in service with Blonay Chamby for some time and then came to GFM Historique, which was founded in 2012. The railcar was built by SWS/Alioth in 1903 and put into operation as the CEG CFe 4/4 11. In 1928, after a first conversion, it became the BCe 4/4 111 and in 1956, after a second conversion, it became the GFM Be4/4. The picture shows the railcar in use on the Blonay-Chamby Railway leaving Blonay train station.

No question - SBB TILO RABe 524s are not uncommon in Gallarate on the Simplon line. But the destination of the train is surprising: Airolo (on the Gotthard). The solution to the puzzle: the SBB RABe 524 runs as S50 from Malpensa via Varese to Bellinzona and is extended to Airola during rush hour.

Autour de la voie ferrée / Around the iron railway (autumn event 2024) - The visiting GFM Historique BDe 4/4 141,  Le Binou  and the MOB Gm 4/4 2004, which cannot be seen here, gave this year's autumn event a very special look that I really liked, without of course the traditional Blonay-Chamby vehicles to want to miss.

On this section of the route near Saint Émiland the speed is limited to 270 km/h; 300 km/h is only permitted at km 254.6 in the north and from km 336.3 in the south.

Autour de la voie ferrée / Around the iron railway (autumn event 2024) -  Le Biniou  is the name of a Breton bagpipe, in the broadest sense comparable to a Scottish bagpipe, the name of the Blonay-Chamby Dm 2/2 N° 3. The trolley comes from Reseau Breton and, thanks to its small external dimensions, was just taken along and taken to the Blonay -Chamby railway transported. Now  Le Biniou  is Blonay and is giving itself (and especially the Le Biniou team) a little break.

This means that the small trolley can be turned at any point or removed from the track (for counter trains). The turntable consists of various elements and is carried on the trolley. 
If the trolley is to be turned, the elements are mounted, the trolley moves on it and then it can be turned, where as can be seen here in the picture in Blonay.

The  Olympia  - TGV Rame 4718 is ready for boarding in Lausanne. The high speed train will depart as TGV Lyria 9774 at 13:45 for Paris Gare de Lyon (at 17:42). It will serve Genève, Bellegarde-sur-Valserine and Bourg-en-Bresse along the way.
