Ex-CSD 354 195 stands on 13 May 2012 in the railway museum of Luzna u Rakovnika. De numer 354 gives some characteristics of the type of loco, whe the firt n umber denotes the driving axles (3), the second the maximum speed parted by 10 and subsequent minus 3 (80 km/h; 80:10=8, subsequent 8-3=5 and you get the second number of the class) and the thrid number the axle weight minus 10 (14 tonnes pro axle). In this number scheme, many different classes carry the same number, only to be told from one another by a rather complex subnumbering).

Four nations in one picture! The Polish TKt 48-87 -owned by Belgian preservationists CFV3V and wearing the colours of Czech and Slovak fast steam train locos (see pictures of ex-CSD Class 477 Papousek)- hauils a steam shuttle out of Treignes on 21 September 2019. The photographer is Dutch and signs up for the 4th nation.

On 13 September 2018, CD 150 222 calls at Navsi/Nawsie. This town lies in the Czech Republic and the Czech part of Silesia, the major part of which area lies of course in Poland. Because the region around Tiesin (LP/Cesky Tesin (CZ) is bilingual, both Polsh and Czech are used at official buildings like railway stations.

On 1 May 2011, Pt 47-106 takes a sun bath at Wolsztyn. Class Pt47 were the post WW-II version of the simple and very effective Pt31 1D1 machines, one of the best types of steam locos ever build for accidented tracks. When during the nazi-ocupation of Poland German train crews compared the DRG Classes 19, 39 and 41 with the Polish Pt31, they found the Polish product cleasrly superior to the 1D1 locos of the supposedly racially superior Reich.

On 29 April 2016 Pt47-65 celebrates her succesful renovation at Wolsztyn with a balloon filled rope cutting ceremony. Alas, the 'ropes' were made of nylon, that compacts on pressure unlike standard rope, that can be cut by driving a steam loco across. The idea of a rope cutting by locomotive was good, but the nylon didn't cooperate so the 'rope' had to be burned to get the balloons loose.
