RB37 Krefeld Hbf<=>Neuss Hbf sees a nice variety on loco haulage due to failures onnew EMUs and on 24 April 2026 TRI's quasi-retroheritage 145 097 hauls the RB near Kaarst Broicherseite. Class 145 never carried the 1980s/1990s DB corporate colours of pinkish red with white slab.

On 01.01.1992, it was renumbered to DR 232 572-8 and on 01.01.1994 to DB 232 572-8. In 2002, it was rebuilt and re-motored at the Cottbus repair shop with a new twelve-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine of type 12D49M, after which it was renumbered to DB 233 572-7 on 28.11.2002.
