On the evening of 22 May 2010 Bubikopf 64 491 stands with one of many steam train shuttles at Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg during the festivities of 175 years of railways in Germany. The DDM lived up to its name and reputation with massive steam shuttle operations between Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg and Marktschorgast and with a fantastic steam train program, nice snack to eat, a decent beer and the best of weather one of the greater steam bonanzas was there.

Nine Pacifics 2C1s took their turns on the weekend of 20/21 September 2014 during a massive Pacific fest in Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg to commemmorate the 90th anniversary of the commissioning of the Pacific Einheitslok back in 1924. The result was to be Baureihe 01. On 20 September 2014 the Bubikopf 64 491 seems dwarfed by the participating Pacifics from Germany, Austria (01 533), Switzerland (01 202) and the Netherlands (01 1075).
