NS(M) DE-20 stands at 's-Hertogenbosch during the -normally- annual arrival of Prince Carnival Amadiro XXIV. Carnival is a fervently held tradition in Roman-catholic areas around the world and 's-Hertogenbosch is no exception. Tradition has Prince Carnival (who is in 's-Hertogenbosch always an Amadiro) to arrive by a special train at the station and on 10 February 2018, DE-20 was chosen.

Series version of DE-1: DE 41 stands at Amersfoort-Bokkeduinen on 14 October 2014 during a small loco parade for the 175th Year of railways in the Netherlands. DE41 is now kept at the NSM in Utrecht.
