The NS Mat ’24 railcar train (BD 9107, C 8553, and C 8104) "Blokkendozen" (block boxes) on June 24, 2025, at the Railway Museum (until 2005 NSM - Nederlands Spoorwegmuseum / Dutch Railway Museum) in Utrecht at the former Maliebaan station. A railway museum that invites you to linger. The three-part train of the Mat ’24 type of the Dutch Railway Museum consists of BD 9107, C 8553, and C 8104.
Here in the foreground is the railcar NS BD 9107 (mBD). It was built in 1927 by Beijnes, officially Koninklijke Fabriek van Rijtuigen en Spoorwagens J.J. Beijnes (Royal Factory for Carriages and Railway Wagons J.J. Beijnes) in Haarlem, with electrical equipment from Metropolitan Vickers, and delivered to NS - Nederlandse Spoorwegen. It has 40 second-class seats as well as a luggage compartment. Its historical numbers were from 1927: BD 9007 / 1931: BD 9107 / 1946: CD 9107 / 1958: BD 5902 / 1966: 159016 / 1968: 9741937 / 1989 BD 9107.

NSM 876 shows herself at Amersfoort on 31 May 2026 as part of the 60th anniversary of Dutch EMUs Plan V/Mat'64. NSM's yellow 876. red 466 of De Karel (visivle in the background) and Keolis' blue and white 904 -the three only operational Plan Vs- presented themselves to 250+_ disciplined photographers at Amersfoort on that glorious 31 May 2026.

Koploper 4011 passes through Tilburg-Reeshof on 23 July 2021. This EMU is now part of the collection of the Nederlandsch Spoorwegmuseum at Utrecht-Maliebaan, having been handed over in 2024 in preparation of the phasing out of these once ubiquitious EMUs that modernised Dutch InterCity traffic from 1977 onwards.

On 4 November 2017 NS Reizigers held an Open Day at their works shop at Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer and one of the participants was DE-20, a former direction railcar, that used to be deployed by NS staff on conferences -by rail.

NS(M) 273 quits Nijmegen on a condition ride on 13 May 2023. A planned transfer haul of an even older EMU from Blerick to Utrecht-Maliebaan was cancelled due to a technical damage on that older EMU, but was no cause at all to cancel a nice condition ride.
