The DDM lived up to its name and reputation with massive steam shuttle operations between Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg and Marktschorgast and with a fantastic steam train program, nice snack to eat, a decent beer and the best of weather one of the greater steam bonanzas was there.

In the nick of time, just before the festivities on 50 Years of the Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum at Nördlingen, 64 094 was cosmetically restored and shows herself at the BEM on 1 June 2019. 
