The HG 4/4 704 (ex 40-304 from Vietnam) is on its way to Realp via the Furka mountain line with its steam train.

The BLS Re 465 002 leaves the m Goppenstein station with its car tunnel train.

The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) can be found photographically in a very awkward place in the Kandersteg train station and are therefore difficult to photograph. However, the route to the tunnel offers good opportunities to photograph the last BLS Re 4/4 in use. I still stayed at Kandersteg train station and was able to photograph the BLS Re 4/4 185 with its car tunnel train in the station. The train is waiting for the BLS RABe 521 to depart as R1 from Domodossola to Bern, in order to then travel as a service train towards Frutigen. January 3, 2024

While an SBB Re 460 departs Brig with its IR 90 train for Geneva Airport, the BLS Re 4/4 192 is in the background. It is one of the last BLS Re 4/4s (Re 425) still in service. August 17, 2024 

After the BLS RE 11 4545 with the BLS RABe 528 111 and 101 from Biel/Bienne arrives in Iselle, the line ends on the RE 1 to Bern. But first, the BLS car tunnel train must depart with the Re 4/4 195 to Brig. A few words about the location of this photo. I was standing on the sloping road next to a wall and was able to comfortably position my camera on the wall's edge. The whole thing was observed by Italian border guards, which guarantees that the law was fully observed. August 17, 2024 

In Kandersteg, in addition to the BLS Re 465 004 seen in the background, the two BLS Re 4/4s 192 and 184 are also ironed up and are probably waiting for their next assignment; but the time of the beautiful BLS Re 4/4 really seems to be running out. September 12, 2024 
