The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) and AT 3 Brig Iselle are the last scheduled areas of operation for the BLS Re 4/4 (Re 425).

The car tunnel trains on the AT1 route (and AT2 in high season) to Kandersteg (or Iselle) and AT 3 Brig Iselle are the last scheduled areas of operation for the BLS Re 4/4 (Re 425). The picture shows the BLS Re 4/4 192 with its tunnel train in Goppemstein station. On the right of the picture, the worn out BLS RABe 521 can still be seen as the R1 from Bern to Brig.

A BLS RABe 528 MIKA in Brig is actually nothing special, but the RABe 528 109 runs as R91 for the RegioAlpes to St Gingolph on Lake Geneva; and this was worth a picture to me. Sept 12, 2024 
