An SBB Domino leaves the Gänsbrunnen station and continues towards Moutier. Gänsbrunnen is located in the Tahl and can only be reached by train from the Mittelland in a very short time as the road connection requires a fairly large detour. For this reason, the Weissenstein Tunnel is now also being renovated. so that rail operations can continue to be offered on these routes in the future. The Solothurn - Moutier route belonged to the SMB, which in turn formed a joint venture with EBT and VHB and later the RM and was subsequently taken over by the BLS. June 17, 2023

At Ligerz, on the last relatively short single-track section of the Jura Foot Line, an SBB RBDe 560 Domino is on its way towards Biel/Bienne. The work for the double-track expansion in the form of a tunnel is already underway, and in a few years it will no longer be possible to photograph trains in this harmonious Biel Lake landscape near Ligerz.
