How times change: a few years ago, I would have turned up my nose and not photographed the ICN passing through Airolo. Today, I'm happy to be able to photograph an ICN among all the "Giruno" trains: an SBB RABDe 500 passes by as an IC on its way north.

Lok-3 LANGNAU of the DBB hauls Lok 853 into the Depot of Burgdorf on 17 May 2025.

The Blonay-Chamby steam service is arriving at the Chaulin station and the Hg 3/4 N° 3 (by the B-C) is shouting to the depot.

The two C 5/6 locomotives 2978 and 2969 are on their way from Bellinzona to Bellinzona. The steam train is being re-formed in Göschenen for the onward journey through the Gotthard Tunnel. The two steam locomotives were photographed before the SBB Re 4/4 II 11161 took the lead. Oct. 21, 2017 
