Ex-NS 7853 'NAVIZENCE' runs round at Haaksbergen, head station of the MBS, on 23 October 2016. This engine is of Swiss design and was ordered by NS after the Second World war to rebuild the very depleted locomotive parc. SBB just had sidelined a massive bunch of C- tank engines due to their electrification programme and Nederlandsche Spoorwegen bought some of these locos fo9r local passenger and freight services.

On 10 September 2016 MBS-2 (from Haaksbergen in the very east of the Netherlands) was guest with the Zeeland-based SGB (in the extreme South-West of the Netherlands) and shows herself at Goes restored back to her last commercial revenue-earning guise of the Sas van Gent Zuid-Chemie.

Side view on RFO 692 at Oss on 2 March 2021. After her spell with the NS, she was bought by a group of preservationists, that sadly concluded that they could no longer affort 692. But RailForceOne, that in 2020 took over shunting duties in Oss, was lucky to buy the loco from the preservationists, who were lucky to not having to sell the shunter for scrap. Many a photographer considers himself lucky from 2020 with catching this Dutch shunter in British livery.

Strukton 303008 'DANIQUE' hauls an inspection vehichle out of Emmerich on 8 NOvember 2019 during the yearly inspection ride over the entire Dutch railway network. Since the Dutch freight artery Betuweroute ends at Emmerich, Strukton's inspection tour comes into this German/Dutch border station.
