On 21 October 2012, ex-NS (and former BR War department) 8811 returned to active service with the Rotterdam based preservation society SSN and the loco is seen here with cab rides at Rotterdam SSN.

Just before a down pour cleared up the entire area of a railway exhibition at Hengelo, MBS-2 (still in red) could be seen here on 2 October 1999.
