No.6 L'AIGLE (Eagle), one of a class of nine, stands in the Cité du Train in Mulhouse on 30 May 2019. She was build in 1846 by Robert Stephenson for the Chemins du Fer d'Avignon-Marseille, that opened between 1847-1849 in sections. After AM was taken over by PLM, AIGLE became 206 until withdrawal in 1865.

ETAT 140-344 stands in the Cité du Trainj in Mulhouse om 30 May 2019. She was one of a 200 strong order, placed by two British loco building companies because of the need for strong freight locomotives (for troop deployments amongst others). Although build for freight service, these 80 km/h fast engines were often deployed on mundane passenger services. In 1975 the last members of this class went out of service, but 140-344 remains.

MIDI 4002 stands in the Cité du Train in Mulhouse on 30 May 2019. The CF de MIDI ordered forty locos of this type for passenger services under 1.500 Volt DC catenary. After the nationalisation of the French raiwlays in 1938, spawning the SNCF, these locos became class BB 1500. Untill 1979 all engines remained in service, but four years after that, the last was decommissioned.
