Despite the many new vehicles, older trains are still in use every now and then, like this FS Tpy 73 low-floor train (Carrozza vicinale a piano ribassato) in XMPR livery with an npBD at the front and four nB cars as well as the pushing FS Trenitalia E 464 123.

A red FS regional train and the station is not called  Ponte di San Martino  but  Pont S. Martin  - therefore this picture comes from the Aosta Valley. The view looks north from the southernmost train station and shows the FS Trenitalia BUM BTR 813 001 traveling as RV VdA 2718 from Aosta to Torino Porta Nuova. It will soon leave the Aosta Valley after its stop in Pont S.Martin and the subsequent onward journey. October 12, 2023

The Aosta Valley lies between Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, so to speak, and there, about halfway between Chatillon Saint Vincent and Verres, a bimodular FS Trenitalia BUM BTR 813 as RV VdA 2722 is on the way from Aosta to Torino Porta Nuova to Aosta and crosses the river  Dora Baltea by Borgo. I discovered the bridge a good month ago and when looking for a photo spot I quickly found a spot on the outskirts of the small village of Borgo. However, it was only on site that it became apparent that the vegetation had increased far more than I would have liked and I had to move my photo location to a bridge a little south. What the picture doesn't show is a hydroelectric power station on the left and the highway on the right. October 11, 2023
