MBS 7853 runs light through Haksbergen on 23 October 2016. After WW-II NS ordered many second hand steam locomotives due to the massive losses from 1944/1945. Second hand steamers were cheaper and the Dutch Railways wanted to phase out steam apace, investing in new Diesel and electric stock. Two C-couplers were bought from Switzerland and these Tigerli entered Dutch service as 7851 and 7852. IN 2015 MBS bought a Swiss Tigerli to reeneact these steamers and numbered hers as 7853, following the highest original number.

Tram loco SHM-8 Ooievaar, built in 1908 by Backer&Rueb at Breda (NL) banks a steam special into Hoorn SHM on a grey 4 July 2026. The wagon behind/just before the loco used to be a freight wagon adapted for passenger traffic as an emergency just after WW-2, when genuine passenger coaches were in very short supply and one had to make ado.
