Festival Suisse de la vapeur 2024 / Swiss Steam Festival 2024 of the Blonay-Chamby Railway - A view of the new wooden pylons on the section from Cornaux to the Baye de Clarens Tunnel as well as the construction site for the restoration of the Baye de Clarens Viaduct. So the beautifully restored MOB FZe 6/6 2002 of the Blonay - Chamby Railway with its passenger train to Chaulin is almost only a "decoration" of this picture.

"Le Chablais en fête" at the Blonay Chamby train. The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars railway 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, were the reason for this year's autumn festival "Le Chablais en fête. The ASD BCFe 4/4 N° is a special attraction 1 "TransOrmonan" of the TPC with its B 35 as a guest vehicle. The picture shows the guest in the middle of other railcars in a similar color scheme in the Chaulin Musée: left the LLB ABFeh 2/4 N° 10 from 1914 and on the right the MOB BCFe 4/4 N° 11 built in 1905.

The opening of the first section of the Bex - Villars railway 125 years ago, as well as the merger of some routes in the Chablais 80 years ago, were the reason for this year's autumn festival "Le Chablais en fête. The ASD BCFe 4/4 N° is a special attraction 1 "TransOrmonan" of the TPC with its B 35 as a guest vehicle There was a big and well-organized surprise in Chamby this morning: The picture shows the ASD BCFe 4/4 N° 1, built in 1913 and converted in 1940, on the journey from Blonay to Chaulin (left in the picture) and the two MOB BCFe 4/4 N° 11 (built in 1905) and DZe 6/6 2002 (built in 1932), both today on the Blonay-Chamby Bahn, at a fine vehicle parade between two MOB/MVR trains Chamby. Back then... A wonderful scene of a country station, which at that time still had a lot of freight traffic, and the goods were also carted in and transported on by horse-drawn carts. Today... Local freight transport has practically become obsolete. But today, to our credit, one or two museums are taking care to show the past. The picture was taken in the Black Forest in Seebrugg, at the IG 3Seenbahn e.V. and, in addition to the already mentioned ambience, shows the Breuer locomotor 171 from the AEV (Achertäler Eisenbahnverein), which is in use here on loan.
