On 21 May 2022 the Churchill Arrow 1021 leaves Olten with an extra service to ZÜrich HB. This EMU is called after the sped and because after WW II, the former British Prime Minister Winston CHurchill enjoyed his vacation in Switzerland, using the 1021.

Finally, a  real  Brünig Railway train in Meiringen again! The SBB HGe 4/4  I 1992 Giswil arrives at Meiringen station with its special train celebrating the  20 Years of the Zentralbahn  anniversary. The locomotive, with its typical SBB face resembling an Ae 6/6 or Re 4/4 II, was acquired in 1954 along with the HGe 4/4  I 1991 to relieve the pressure on the Deh 4/4 on the Brünig Railway's mountain section. The locomotive is so powerful that, on the one hand, it was given the name  Muni,  but, on the other, the locomotive's transmission wasn't quite up to the task.  Muni  means something like  bulky bull.  A good 43 years ago, I was able to photograph an SBB Brünig Railway HGe 4/4, and now I finally had the pleasure of capturing this beautifully designed locomotive again. August 23, 2025

The two C 5/6 locomotives 2978 and 2969 are on their way from Bellinzona to Bellinzona. The steam train is being re-formed in Göschenen for the onward journey through the Gotthard Tunnel. The two steam locomotives were photographed before the SBB Re 4/4 II 11161 took the lead. Oct. 21, 2017

On the evening of 21 May 2005 CentralBahn 10009 hauls the Herzerather extra train through Köln West. THe Herzerather is a special service from Münster (Westfalen) to Herzerath in Rhimeland-Palatinate (Fridays) and back (Sundays) that provides the travellers a ride on old stock and a drinking/boozing weekend. Beingf a very jolly companion, the soberness audable is a bit farther away than normal with the travellers.
