The Aosta Valley lies between Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn, so to speak, and there, about halfway between Chatillon Saint Vincent and Verres, a bimodular FS Trenitalia BUM BTR 813 as RV VdA 2722 is on the way from Aosta to Torino Porta Nuova to Aosta and crosses the river Dora Baltea by Borgo. I discovered the bridge a good month ago and when looking for a photo spot I quickly found a spot on the outskirts of the small village of Borgo. However, it was only on site that it became apparent that the vegetation had increased far more than I would have liked and I had to move my photo location to a bridge a little south. What the picture doesn't show is a hydroelectric power station on the left and the highway on the right. October 11, 2023

Dolina Aosty leży pomiędzy Mont Blanc a Matterhornem, można powiedzieć, a tam, mniej więcej w połowie drogi między Chatillon Saint Vincent a Verres, bimodularny skład FS Trenitalia BUM BTR 813 jako RV VdA 2722 jest w drodze z Aosty do Torino Porta Nuova i z powrotem do Aosty, przekraczając rzekę Dora Baltea w Borgo. Most odkryłem około miesiąca temu i szukając miejsca do zdjęć szybko znalazłem punkt na obrzeżach małej wioski Borgo. Dopiero na miejscu okazało się jednak, że roślinność znacznie się zagęściła, bardziej niż bym chciał, i musiałem przenieść miejsce fotografowania na most nieco na południe. Czego zdjęcie nie pokazuje, to elektrownia wodna po lewej oraz autostrada po prawej. 11 października 2023 

The train is traveling as .italo 9928 and still has a long and interesting way ahead of it: via Foggia Benevento, Caserta, Roma, Firenze and Milano it goes to Torino. The detour is worth it, as it means that far more HGV routes are used than the direct route along the coast.
