The most difficult part: The rotation of the Dm 2/2 No. 3. Since the rotation of the "turntable" takes place on a ball bearing, physical effort is required not only for the actual turning but also to ensure that the Biniou remains more or less horizontal. The pictures show how strenuous the rotation of the small, but not exactly lightweight, Dm 2/2 is.

Swiss Steam Festival 2026 - alongside Blonay Chamby Railway G 2x 2/2 105 and HG 3/4 No. 3, the G 2/2 TICINO was also in operation as a guest locomotive and handled the maneuver in Chaulin. Thus, the Suisse de la vapeur / Swiss Steam Festival 2026 was for me above all a reunion with the pretty, small, and simple locomotive which I extensively photographed over the two days. Here the locomotive is standing in Chaulin. May 25, 2026 
