As already mentioned in other pictures of the Dm 2/2 No. 3 "Biniou" from Brittany, the draisine can be turned independently of location or even removed from the track to allow, for example, scheduled trains to pass.
While for "removing it from the track" a suitable place to park the Biniou must probably be available, turning it proves to be much easier, but as the following pictures show, every move must be precise and turning requires quite a bit of skill and strength.
Here the "turntable" of the Biniou is being set up. All parts are carried on the Dm 2/2 No. 3.
