On 14 July 2022 NMBS 08 066 calls at Antwerpen-Berchem. Desiros Class 08 are deployed not only on urban services (for which they were ordered in the first place), but also on longer regional and even InterCity services.

Former SNCB 9008 stands in the shed of the CFV 3V at Mariembourg on 21 September 2019 with a Steam Punk couple that have landed from a fictional Victorian era (in the Victorian era, setam engines ruled, but punk as a style of music or way of life did not exist then). NMBS 2804 leaves Nijmegen wqith a test ride with some I-11 coaches on 26 October 2022. This test ride was one of a series to test the deployment of TRAXX locos Class 186 with NMBS I-11 coaches, should the need rise to replace the Dutch ICR coaches. From December 2024, the Belgian coaches were inded deployed as replacement for the 40+ years old Durch stock.

KDS 781 592 shunts some old stock at Benesov u Prahy on Friday 26 September 2025. The day before the annual train bonanza STEAM5x gets started, the participants arrive at Benesov and have to be squeezed in into the rather small CD works, giving the many train fans in the know many opportunities to view, film and photograph the arrivals and shunting operations into the works.

The Platform 2 in Lausanne is always good for surprises; this time it's the new MTR/(SNCF) narrow-gauge railcar Beh 4/8 (Z894) with UIC number 90 85 838 0894-8, which is on its way to Martigny and was photographed while changing direction.
