Near Ligerz, on the last single-track section of the Jura Foot Line, SBB Re 4/4 11346 (Re 420 346-9) is heading toward Neuchâtel. Both the locomotive and this stretch of line are likely to become a thing of the past in the foreseeable future—reason enough to capture as many impressions as possible here at the uniquely positioned kilometer marker 94.4. August 24, 2026
