For years they dominated traffic on branch lines, the SNCF X2800, although the sidecar that was added later didn't really fit.

The Bernina Railway RhB ABe 4/4 I No. 35 of the Blonay Chamby Railway, which underwent an excellent overhaul last year, will take over the eclectic trains (except for the last train) at the season opener on May 3, 2025, which, of course, was entirely to my liking. Pictured here is the ABe 4/4 I 35 waiting in Blonay for departure for the first train of the 2025 season. May 3, 2025 
