Festival Suisse de la vapeur (Swiss Steam Festival 2024) - Since the steam locomotives need a lot of care, interesting electric vehicles are used at the steam festival during the day and especially



Festival Suisse de la vapeur 2024 / Swiss Steam Festival 2024 of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn. A few trains were also transported with electric traction and the FZe 6/6 2002 and the Ge 4/4 81 were mainly used. The picture shown here shows the Bernina Bahn Ge 4/4 81 of the Blonay Chamby Bahn on the journey from Blonay to Chamby just before Cornaux. Worth noting, even if only as a detail, are the new wooden catenary masts on the Cornaux - Tunnle Baye de Clarens section and the new tracks on this section. May 20, 2024

Around the railway / Around the iron railway (Autumn event 2024) - The visiting GFM Historique BDe 4/4 141, Le Binou, and the MOB Gm 4/4 2004, which is not visible here, gave this year's autumn event of the Blonay-Chamby Railway a very special look that I really liked, of course without missing the traditional Blonay-Chamby vehicles, which could be admired in Chaulin. The picture shows the GFM Historique BDe 4/4 141 in Blonay. 7 Sept. 2024

Swiss Steam Festival 2026 - alongside Blonay Chamby Railway G 2x 2/2 105 and HG 3/4 No. 3, the G 2/2 TICINO was also in operation as a guest locomotive and handled the maneuver in Chaulin. Thus, the Suisse de la vapeur / Swiss Steam Festival 2026 was for me above all a reunion with the pretty, small, and simple locomotive which I extensively photographed over the two days. Here the locomotive is standing in Chaulin. May 25, 2026
