A BLS RABe 528 MIKA leaves Goppenstein for Bern and disappears into the Löschberg Tunnel.

60 years of the BoBo / Re 4/4 II – to mark the occasion, the Austrian Federal Railways (OeBB) organized an unprecedented Re 4/4 reunion.

On 31 December 2018 BLS 194 stands at the rear of an Autoverladezug (car carrying train) through the Lötschbergtunnel at the terminal in Kandersteg. These trains still run quite often -sometimes every ten minutes- but the era of the old brownies banking/hauling these trains are almost complete over. 
