60 years of the BoBo / Re 4/4 II – to mark the occasion, the Austrian Federal Railways (OeBB) organized an unprecedented Re 4/4 reunion.

For a school holiday event with a fairly large turnout, the two TPF RABe 527 192 and 197 operated as a special train from Lausanne.

60 years of the BoBo / Re 4/4 II – to mark the occasion, the Austrian Federal Railways (OeBB) organized an unprecedented Re 4/4 reunion. Among those "invited" were the Re 4/4 I, BLS Ae 4/4 and Re 4/4 (425), Re 450, and even the RhB narrow-gauge locomotive Ge 4/4 II 613. I only attended this magnificent celebration in passing and for a short time, so I can only share a few pictures here. Balsthal, September 14, 2024

Even in the final area of operation, the BLS Re 4/4 car tunnel train service, some trains are already operated by BLS Re 465.

IRSI 11387 provided your photographer with a nice surprise at Mannheim Hbf on 14 May 2026. Due to stupidities by DB, 'my' train arrived at Mannheim Hbf an hour late -but for the delay, I would have missed this extra. 
