On a grey 8 September 2022 NS 1746 gets coupled onto an IC-Berlijn to Amsterdam Centraal at Bad Bentheim. That the loco just has put herself to the train can be sen by the frontal pantograph having been raised. When the train leaves, the back pantograph wil have been raised -betwen first contaqct and departure the pantographs of course will have been lowered to enable the local personnel to connect all the necessary cables without being electrified. On 15 July 2019 NS 1745 couples to an IC-Berlijn that has just been brought into Bad Bentheim by a sister loco. Due to an acident on the tracks between Bad Bentheim and Osnabrück, further traffic into Germany was impossible for hours. Since the trains to AND from the Netherlands meet within a time span of 25 minutes, the set that entered Bad bentheim from Amsterdam could easily be deployed onto the back leap. Leonardus Schrijvers
Gone are the IC-Berlijns with Class 1700 haulage and DB IC-1 coaches. On 25 February 2017 NS 1744 'WIJCHEN' (my home!) has arrived at Amsterdam Centraal with an IC-Berlijn from Bad Bentheim. Leonardus Schrijvers
