SSN's 01 1075 pays a visit to Loenen as support of the Terug-naar-Toen festival on 2 September 2018. Sadly, due to COVID-19 restrictions, both the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled. 

On 3 July 2012 Dordt-in-Stoom (Dordrecht in Steam) festival was held, with steam boats in Dordrecht's river harbour and with steam cars, steam tractors and the like on parade in Dordrecht. SSN from nearby Rotterdam send a steam shuttle with amongst others 01 1075, seen here banking another load of steam enthousiasts out of Dordrecht, despite the rain. 

"Le Vieux Garde perdú, mais ne rend pas" ("the Old Guard dies, but yields not") -a supposed quote of Napoleon's Old Guard at the closing stages of the Battle of Waterloo. On 27 August 2021, CD 230 029 -still sporting her original colours- is one of the few Class 230s that still "yields not" -and will pass a row of at least nine decommissioned and partly cannibalised sister engines at Breclav. 

Due to COVID_19 restrictions, only on Sunday this train runs, reservations are to be made in advance and the passengers are now allowed to detrain at Dieren. After having run round, 23 076 is ready for the back leap to Beekbergen. 
