BLSの旅客列車がBLSの駅を出発します ― それ自体はごく普通の出来事ですが ― この毎日の出来事は実に110年もの長い間待たなければなりませんでした！1915年にBLS/MLB線が運行を開始した際、当初はSBBに引き継がれました。これはBLSにとっては珍しく、蒸気機関車での運行も行われていました。アルザスの領土変動により、当初計画されていたフランス・イタリア間の交通は徐々に変化し、バーゼルと西スイス高原間の国内交通へと発展しました。デレ＝ベルフォール線の再活性化により、サービスの歴史的なコンセプトが復活しましたが、乗客数は期待を大きく下回りました。そのため、時刻表の改正以降、ビール／ビエンヌ－バーゼルSBB線では30分間隔のサービスが提供されており、BLSの列車が既存のICN列車を補完し、ついにMLB BLSネットワークで運用されています。写真は、BLS RABe 528 132がIR56 1858列車としてバーゼルSBBからビール／ビエンヌへ向かい、BLS/MLBのグレンヘン・ノルト駅を出発したところを示しています。2026年1月13日 
