The new TMR/SNCF railcars Beh 4/8 Z 838 are slowly entering service: the TMR SNCF Beh 4/8 893 (90 85 838 893-0)  Le Trient  has arrived as a special train to Le Châtelard Frontière and is now running back to Vernayaz as an empty stock train.

The new TMR/SNCF railcars Beh 4/8 Z 838 are slowly entering service: the TMR SNCF Beh 4/8 893 (90 85 838 893-0)  Le Trient  has come as a special train to Le Châtelard Frontière and is now running back to Vernayaz as an empty stock train. This picture shows the  high-legged  appearance of the railcars caused by the high platforms. The high platforms were built so tall due to the third rail, to prevent anyone from getting the idea to cross the tracks.

In the still shady Vallorcine, the SNCF Z 800 002 is waiting as regional train 18975 for the onward journey to Martigny. The railcar arrived as TER 18903 from Chamonix and will exceptionally be through-routed to Martigny today. In the opposite direction, the TMR BDeh 4/8 22 is on its way, which is also being through-routed to Chamonix outside the regular timetable.
