TMR BDe 4/8 No.

(ID 59489)

TMR BDe 4/8 No. 21 (90 85 838 0821-1 CH-TMRSA) is waiting at Vernayaz M-C for its departure to Vallorcine. Due to a major reconstruction of the Martigny M-C station, M-C trains will begin and end their journeys in Vernayaz until mid-March 2026. This allowed me to photograph the train—waiting for departure—from the level crossing leading to the departure track. I am not certain, however, why the trains are using an unpaved platform—accessible only via a level crossing—rather than the track adjacent to the main station platform. This makes the transfer—already an unpopular experience—even more difficult, especially for passengers with luggage. November 19, 2025

In Le Trétien, our train heading to Martigny crosses the opposing train, the Beh 4/8 No. 72 on its journey from Martigny to Vallorcine. This from the train picture was taken during this crossing, as the windows in the BDeh 4/8 can at least partially be opened.
