La DER de la saison / The end of the 2024 season of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn - The end of the end: Thanks to the time change, the very last train of the season runs in the blue hour.

Like every year, the popular steam tour with the Train Casse took place this year.

The DER of the 2024 season! "Mon dernier Train - My last train". Another really nice whistle, and then the train started moving, passed the exit signal from Blonay and is now heading to Chaulin. A farewell picture with probably the only rays of sunshine of the day at the departure of the LLB ABFe 2/4 10 of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn in Blonay.

La DER de la saison / The end of the 2024 season of the Blonay-Chamby Railway - The MCM railcar of the Blonay Chamby Railway is on the journey to Chaulin with the Kaiserwagen shortly after Blonay.

The BFD HG 3/4 No. 3 of the Blonay Chamby Railway is near Chaulin on its way to Chamby, but is having some trouble on the damp tracks on the incline at km 8.2. However, thanks to the driver's sensitive instinct, the train doesn't break down. May 3, 2025 

The SEG G 2x 2/2 105 of the Blonay Chamby Railway is near Chantemerle on its way to Blonay. The new tracks on this section are clearly visible. During the renovation of the Baye de Clarens Viaduct, a layer of gravel was laid in the track area to allow road vehicles to access the construction site. This didn't look very attractive (at least for my taste), and I largely avoided taking pictures in this section. May 18, 2025 

The SEG G 2x 2/2 105 of the Blonay Chamby Railway is en route with its steam train from Blonay to Chamby, crossing the newly renovated Baye de Clarens viaduct. The western section of the viaduct has been rebuilt and will be able to absorb the constant mountain pressure (or the movement of the slope) towards the Baye de Clarens Gorge without deforming the bridge. May 18, 2025 
