La DER de la saison / The end of the 2024 season of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn - The end of the end: Thanks to the time change, the very last train of the season runs in the blue hour.

Like every year, the popular steam tour with the Train Casse took place this year.

The DER of the 2024 season! "Mon dernier Train - My last train". Another really nice whistle, and then the train started moving, passed the exit signal from Blonay and is now heading to Chaulin. A farewell picture with probably the only rays of sunshine of the day at the departure of the LLB ABFe 2/4 10 of the Blonay-Chamby Bahn in Blonay.

Around the railway / Around the iron railway (Autumn event 2024) - The visiting GFM Historique BDe 4/4 141, "Le Binou," and the MOB Gm 4/4 2004, which is not visible here, gave this year's autumn event of the Blonay-Chamby Railway a very special look that I really liked, of course without missing the traditional Blonay-Chamby vehicles, which could be admired in Chaulin. Swiss Steam Festival 2026 - alongside Blonay Chamby Railway G 2x 2/2 105 and HG 3/4 No. 3, the G 2/2 TICINO was also in operation as a guest locomotive and handled the maneuver in Chaulin. Thus, the Suisse de la vapeur / Swiss Steam Festival 2026 was for me above all a reunion with the pretty, small, and simple locomotive which I extensively photographed over the two days. The BFD HG 3/4 N° 3 of the Blonay-Chamby Railway is shortly after Chamby on the way to Chaulin and travels through a section of forest that is slowly but surely turning autumnal.
