Autour de la voie ferrée / Around the iron railway (autumn event 2024) - Le Biniou is the name of a Breton bagpipe, in the broadest sense comparable to a Scottish bagpipe, the name of the Blonay-Chamby Dm 2/2 N° 3. The trolley comes from Reseau Breton and, thanks to its small external dimensions, was just taken along and taken to the Blonay -Chamby railway transported. Now Le Biniou is Blonay and is giving itself (and especially the Le Biniou team) a little break. Sept. 7, 2024

125 years of the MOB—and the fulfillment of a long-held dream: a direct connection between Montreux and Interlaken! On the right in the image is the FZe 6/6 2002; ordered in 1931 and arriving in 1932—right in the midst of the Great Depression—it may have technically arrived too late, yet it perfectly embodies the MOB’s philosophy: to be different from the rest! 125 years of the MOB: I wish the MOB all the best, and may it once again demonstrate that seasoned, reliable service—a quality that has been sorely missed in recent years.
