But the joy didn't last long, the opening of the Gotthard Bassis Tunnel was imminent and the journey was too long for me for a "measly" TILO Flirt that only runs every hour. But with the unfortunate derailment of a few freight cars a few kilometers from here, but deep under the mountain, traffic on the "Panorama" route begins to pick up again for a few weeks and I drove to Faido: In the picture is a SBB "Giruno" RABe 501 on the way to Lugano.
