It's almost like being on a model railway: a barely noticeable hill and full of holes like Swiss cheese from the nearby Emmental: Wanzwil. Here, at km 36, the route to Solothurn branches off from the NBS (Olten) - Rothrist - Mattstetten (Bern). While in the middle of the picture the NBS runs through the 3,173 meter long Önzberg tunnel, the two single-track tunnel portals Wolfacker Süd and Nord can be seen to the left and right.
