Volker Rail 7143 is seen at Tilburg on a grey 8 May 2026. This loco used to be NS Reizigers 1743 and received a new colour scheme, based on the standard Volker Rail livery with a wink to SNCF Class 72000 Diesels! 

The Saga ends. Decommissioned NS DM'90s BUFFEL DMUs stood from 2016 at Nijmegen for a possible sale to a Romanian operator. Unclearities in -amongst others- obligatory documentations however ended the sale in 2019. Since Prorail and Nijmegen wanted the area, where 48 BUFFELs were stored, to be cleared up for building an extra platform at Nijmegen, the sale fell through and NS bought the BUFFELs back to get them to the scrapyard. On 13 November 2019 Volker Rail 203-5 hauls the first batch of DM'90 out of Nijmegen. THe saga continues however with Polish operator SKPL buying the entire batch for deployment in services in the Slask and Dolnislask regions. 
