New is the steel train between Beverwijk Tata Steel and Maastricht Beatrixhaven. RFO 2019 304 enters Sittard on 22 September 2024 with such a steel train and will wait for 15 minutes before departing to Maastricht with electric traction. At the station of Maastricht, the loco will switch off the electrics, run round an use Diesel power to haul the literal last mile to the Beatrixhaven.
