Léman Express in La Roche sur Foron: There, the SNCF Z31525 and the SBB RABe 522 232 are waiting for departure. The SNCF Z 31525 is on its way from Coppet to St-Gervais les Bains Le Fayet, and the SBB LEX RABe 522 from Annecy to Coppet, thus providing a good connection in La Roche sur Foron from Annecy to St-Gervais les Bains le Fayet. 

Four tracks, three routes, two power systems, and one train – between St-Jean and Genève, the SBB LEX RABe 522 228 is operating as RL5 23042 on the journey from Genève to La Plaine. The train runs on the track remaining after the construction of the line to Genève Aéroport, which is designed according to SNCF standards and thus electrified with AC 25,000 volts 50 hertz. To the right of it run the two tracks of the double track to and from Genève Aéroport, and on the far left in the picture is the track to Annemasse. These three tracks are electrified with SBB 16,000 volts 2/3 hertz. The second track from the right is also used by trains to Annemasse up to the St-Jean junction, which probably explains why right-hand traffic prevails on the line to Annemasse. June 1, 2026 
