The CJ RBDe 567 182 (UIC 94 85 7 567 182-1) with its commuter train has arrived in Alle as R51 26430 from Porrentruy and is quickly turning around to operate the return service, R51 26431 to

Once again in the eventful history of the Delle - Belfort line, a new chapter will begin with the timetable change in December 2025: SNCF multiple units will take over service almost hourly; connections will no longer be interrupted in Meroux; however, international passengers will need to change trains in Delle. The SBB LEX RABe 522 223 will leave Annemasse under 25000 volts/50 Hz as RL4 23227 to Coppet, but after just a few hundred meters the power system switches to SBB 15000 volts 16 2/3 Hertz. At first glance, a mundane shot: a rear view of an SBB LEX RABe 522; the special feature: the SBB RABe 522 229 is operating as RL7 23535 on its way from Annemasse to Vernier and leaves the CEVA line at Jonction to reach Vernier via the connecting track. This connecting track was not used by passenger trains until the timetable change 2025/26 and is electrified with 25,000 volts 50 Hertz. It serves the (light) freight traffic from Genève La Praille to France (or local freight traffic). Unfortunately, I have not found a route number for this line. July 23, 2023
