On platform 1 in Lausanne, the SBB Historic Ae 4/7 10976 awaits departure with its training train. The locomotive was delivered in 1931 and remained in active service until 1995, when, after 64 years of service, it was incorporated into the SBB Historic locomotive collection. The SBB training train is traditionally hauled by old-style locomotives, which, while not exactly a perfect match for the train, provide an opportunity for the locomotives to be moved and for railway photographers to photograph them. The Re 4/4 I 10039 provides the special train 31131 in Lausanne. The train runs for a tour group to Zurich Enge (with a stop in Palézieux). The train consists of the Le Salon Bleu 61 85 80-90 200-6 CH-IRSI, the 56 80 89-80 010-2 WGm D-IRSI and the Am 56 80 10-40 360-4 D-IRSI. Since the TEE Rheingold Genève - Amsterdam, at the end of its service life many years ago, consisted of a DB dining car, a DB compartment car and a DB open-plan car and was also pulled by a Re 4/4 I, today's train brings back memories of the TEE 6 / 7, which ran from Geneva for the last time on May 23, 1982 (and then stayed on the Basel - Amsterdam section for a good two years). Unfortunately the Re 4/4 I 10039 was a bit clumsy in front of the sign Crossing the tracks prohibited, and unfortunately these lighting conditions were not for my little snapshots, so I'm showing a cell phone picture here as an exception.

De Re 4/4 I 10039 verzorgt de speciale trein 31131 in Lausanne. De trein rijdt voor een reisgroep naar Zürich Enge (met een stop in Palézieux). De trein bestaat uit de "Le Salon Bleu" 61 85 80-90 200-6 CH-IRSI, de 56 80 89-80 010-2 WGm D-IRSI en de Am 56 80 10-40 360-4 D-IRSI. Aangezien de TEE Rheingold Genève - Amsterdam, aan het einde van zijn levensduur vele jaren geleden, bestond uit een DB restauratierijtuig, een DB coupeerijtuig en een DB open rijtuig en ook werd getrokken door een Re 4/4 I, roept de huidige trein herinneringen op aan de TEE 6 / 7, die voor het laatst vanuit Genève reed op 23 mei 1982 (en daarna nog ruim twee jaar op het traject Basel - Amsterdam bleef). Helaas was de Re 4/4 I 10039 een beetje onhandig voor het bord "Oversteken van de sporen verboden", en helaas waren deze lichtomstandigheden niet geschikt voor mijn kleine snapshots, dus laat ik hier als uitzondering een foto met de mobiele telefoon zien. 11 december 2024 

The Re 4/4 I 10039 is waiting in Lausanne with its special train 31131 to depart for the destination Zurich Enge. The Re 4/4 I now belongs to SWISS RAIL TRAFFIC and was previously on the Mittelthurgaubahn as Re 416 628 and was previously used by the SBB with the number 10039, which is still registered today. At that time, the locomotive, which was delivered on December 22, 1950, still had the chrome letters SBB - CFF or SBB - FFS on the side walls.
